4-9-09 ~ Joel update

It's been a little while. Joel man is 3 months old. He'll be celebrating his 1st Easter this Sunday and getting Christened next Sunday.

He started on some cereal and applesauce (homemade) and bananas...he's doing great! I was planning on waiting till he was 4 months old, but instead we started a few weeks earlier. He was so hungry. He upped some of his bottles to 8 oz and shortened the length of time between some feedings. He has all the readiness signs and does great with the spoon. He grabs my hand with both his hands and pulls the spoon to his mouth, lol!

He has started to do the fake cough sound this week...so cute and talks in the car, aghh, aghh, aghh over and over...silly boy!

We measured him here at home and got 24 inches long, 13.2 pounds and 15.75 for HC. He fits the length of his 3-6 months cloths perfectly (an occasional pair needs folding up) and 1 fold on the arms of his shirts.

We also give him a sippy cup of water to experiment with when he's in his highchair. Avent magic cup~ He's actually drank water out of it a few times...YAAA!

He is sleeping anywhere from 8 to 10 hours at night, loves his baths and smiling and giggling. We took out the exersaucer this past weekend and he enjoys that.

We are still waiting for TPR of the Bfather, we were told it would occur in March, but March came and went to now the agency says it will be mid to late April. Come on!!! We keep praying and just want it over with. Please God!
