Was great!
NP says he is amazing...we showed her how he sits up alone (yes, been doing this since around the 21st of April or so) and she said wow, he's advanced.
We told her how he has no interest in rolling over yet...guess what he did it last night (5-4-09) from belly to back and then proceeded to do it about 20 more times, lol!
He is so cute and so happy!!
His stats:
Weight 14lbs 13 oz (49%)
Length 24 inches (18%)
HC 16 (13%)
Okay, so he is totally off his curve this visit. Got heavier, shorter, LOL and his head is still small. His fontanel is really smaller and feels like it is closing already so we need to monitor his HC. I'll be measuring it at home and calling his DR with his HC every 2 weeks. As long as his head keeps growing and he keeps up developmentally there shouldn't be any problems.
He is awesome at drinking from a sippy cup now (started that a few weeks ago too).
He just seems so willing to try new things and is so interested in everything...hope that keeps up. Just last night I was feeding him his cereal and green beans for dinner and he wanted the spoon, every time I put it to his mouth he held my hand and helped me. So, I gave him the spoon and he'd do it himself.
We can't believe how big and smart he is!
Update on Bfather TPR: Won't be till beg. of July now, Grrr!
Attorney had a court date, judge was a a$$ and didn't like the wording of something on the petition so he is having him amend the petition and get this...run the publication AGAIN for 5 weeks, wait 3 weeks and go back for a court date. I can't believe this. He still isn't ours and what an awful feeling that is. We have to just continue with our day to day and not think about it. Our SW tells us not to worry, but if the judge can be an a$$ on this, he could be if Bfather took things to court too. We pray he has no interest in this as he has had all this time and thankfully nothing. Please pray with us. We can't bear the thought of fighting for OUR SON!
Guess that's the update for now :o)
Thank you!
