Joel 3 weeks old

Haven't posted here since our return from NV...been a bit busy, LOL!
Okay, we had Joels welcome home shower at C and F's house this past Sat. (1-17-09) from 1-5. It was wonderful...just a great day had by all :O)

So, Joel was 3 weeks old on 1-17-09 and this is what he is up to now:
Eats every 2.5 to 3 hours during the day (4 oz)
Sleeps stretches of 3-5 hours at night (in his bassinet with his bink and sleep sheep)
Not so keen on sleeping during the day unless we are out and about
As of yesterday just started noticing things a lot more (like the cow over his changing table) and smiles and coos at me when I change him although he generally doesn't particularly like being changed, undressed or bathed.
Yesterday he started this excited thing with his leg and foot...when he sees something up over him to look at that excites him, he kicks his little leg so fast it looks like it is vibrating, lol!
At his pedi appt. on the 15th he was:
Wt: 7.9
Lg: 20.5
HC: 14
On Sunday the 18th I started putting him in 0-3 mos. clothing and they fit him great. Today I will start packing up the newborn clothing and anything that looks to be too small for him. He has lots of new bigger outfits waiting ;o) He is also at the limit (4 oz) for his well, 4 oz Playtex disposable bottles so soon we'll be moving up to the 8 oz, wow...does this happen fast, lol!
