Ahhh, he loves it! It's so cute to see him there interacting with the other babies. He just can't wait to get moving/crawling around. He covered quite a bit of the room on his tummy, going backwards and in circles, LOL! The group leader saw where he started from and where he ended up and she said "did he get himself all the way over there?" LOL!
It is such a fun group for them. They do bubbles, rice table, water table with bubbles and duckies, lots of songs, snack with little open cups, gym area, books, circle, hand washing, signing, etc... It is fun for us Mommy's and Daddy's too!
I am so glad we found such a wonderful program, free to boot. Due to funding issues/ the economy they may have to start a charge for the group in the Fall, but it would be well worth it.
They usually have you attend 10 weeks and then you can continue if the group has room. The twins in Joel's group will be moving onto the older group as they are a year old. The leader mentioned they may be having some new little ones joining in next week. There are about 8 babies total in the group although they typically don't all attend all at the same time.
Again, I'm looking forward to next weeks playgroup :o)
